94 RX-7 , removing ABS system
Ok, very new to this forum but I would like to ask for opinions on removing ABS system. What I noticed is , on smooth surfaces the system works great but on bumpy surfaces or wet sufaces when its doing whatever its supposed to do the car has a tendency to throw itself from left to right . Lets put it this way , it doesn't really inspire confidence when braking from high speeds in wet or bumpy road conditions. I'm in the carribean so most of the roads here are bumpy and , or wet. So , can anyone suggest an alternative to removing the ABS ? Does the car have a ABS computer ? Maybe I can get one from a newer model. One that works better. Newer cars have a much more refined system. I like ABS but not one that works on smooth surfaces only. Please help , any ideas welcome. If not I'm removing it from the car , at least I'll feel safer. Oh , the car is a 94 seven sigle turbo with 350whp. Thanks for the help in advance

Doesn't sound like ABS behavior to me...why are you regularly hitting the brakes hard enough on the street to engage the ABS?
You can always test it by pulling the ABS fuse temporarily.

Was away for awhile. I'm in Miami getting some parts and stuff for the car. I'll try pulling the fuse and let you know what happens.
In Jamaica the roads aren't as smooth as the roads here so , one minute your on a good suface the next it's bumpy so when you brake hard on the bumpy road , hang on .

Just read something that said tire size might have something to do with the problem I'm having. They say the ABS computer takes tire diameter into consideration when its doing what ever it does. Do you think that's true ?
