Is 84 GSL front calliper Bracket/Backing plate same as GSL-SE
Hello, i am new to the Rotary world and got a 1984 RX7 Gsl basket case. I have some old racer friends (RetroRacing) that have helped me out with some cool old race parts and need some info before trying to put the car together.
They gave me some backing plate/calliper brackets that have a factory looking cooling duct at on them. I looked at the car and it's backing plates do not have the duct. One friend has a GSL-SE and I looked at his car and it had the ducts. Are the two styles interchangeable? I know I will find out when I try to assemble them but I thought someone on the forum might know. I am not upgrading to GSL-SE brakes at this time as I got several sets of GSL rotors as part of the package.
Thanks for any info, starting to clean and rebuild parts to install.

P.S. Brackets are not for sale if they won't fit my car, I will give them back to the Retro boys.
