8.5 front 9.5 rear... or 9.5 all around?

getting some volk te's... in 18in.. i have tien ha's and was wondering if i should stagger my wheels or get them the same all the way around... the car isn't daily driven... not really a track car though.... just drive it when i feel like it... would 9.5 around be better so i can rotate the wheels front to back?

thanks

I always recommend same widths all around when it's doable. In your case with TE37s, you might be able to go with 9.5 wides all around, but 265/35-18s all around might prove too tall a tire, in which case you'll need to roll the front fender lips. Ideally 47 to 50 mm offset is needed to run 9.5 wides up front with 265/35-18s. You could run 9 wides all around with 40-mm offset with 255/35-18 tires all around also.

Note the "star" designates large front brake caliper clearances for FD3S Rx7s.

yea i'd like to try and keep the same size also... the car is going to the body shop to get painted... maybe i'll have them roll the fender... even if its not needed, just extra insurance it will fit right?

9 x 18, 40-mm offset with 255/35-18 is a proven fitment. 9.5 x 18, 40-mm offset with 265/35-18 is not proven. I would roll the front fender lips as a precaution for this setup, especially if the car will be @ the body shop anyway...
