500+ hp FD needs help with tire size
I have Volk SE37's on my FD and i need to know whats the widest tires I can run.
I currently have 225/40/18 in front on a 8.5 rim with a 38 offset.
In the rear i have 265/35/18 on a 9.5 rim with a 45 offset.
Do you think I can fit a 295 back there? Its an R1 so i have that susp and springs but stock height. fenders untouched.
I need your help.. Any recommendations on tire sizes front and rear.
I was thinking of getting hoosier road race A6 compound tires for the rear in 295 anyone have an experience with them?
Thanks for the help guys.

Have you gotten your hand back there to try and figure out how much space you have between the back of the tire and the spring?
Most people running 285s or wider are running coilovers with the smaller diameter 2.5" spring (compared to the larger diameter stock style springs).
