+40 or +45 offset w/ eibachs springs and no rubbing?

Fronts: 18x8 235/40/18
Rears: 18x9.5 275/35/18

These are street wheels/tires so I'm not worried about understeer. I can get both the front and the rears in +40 or +45 offsets, which offset would you guys reccomend to minimize rubbing with the eibach springs and koni yellows I am planning on getting in the near future? For an FD BTW. Thanks!

Well, obviously (or not), you should go with the +45 offset, if that's an option. Not only will this minimize the chances of rubbing, but it also minimizes changes to suspension geometry and excessive loading on the wheel bearings.

I would still go for something wider up front if you've got the choice....

Ok thanks, I thought that +45 would be less prone to rubbing, but I wanted to check and see if the +40 would still work so I could get the wheel more fush with the fender.

I guess the 5mm closer to the fender isn't a big deal if I have less of a chance of rubbing with the +45.

You could go with +40 offset for the front 18x8 wheels. That should still be a safe fitment and will push the wheels out for more of a flush look. Stick with +45 for the rear wheels though. They won't look too far tucked in with 275s.
