4 Bolt wheels

I'm a new guy and I'd like an opnion on some new wheels & tires. An 88 GXL with a 4 bolt pattern, I'm thinking of chrome 15"x7 with
205/60/15 HR. It's a street car no raceing.
I see others talking about some really big wheels but if I drop the car an inch will this be
ok? What would be a wider tire that would not rub? Thanks.

I ran 205/65 14 on the phone dial rims with no rubbing. Went back to the 185's for better snow handling.

How the heck did your gxl end up with a four lug bolt pattern? If the hubs are original it is not a gxl, I have an 88 and know for a fact that they come with 5 on 4.5 pattern and have the LSD also.

Anyways, I have 17's and 18's, dropped the cars like 1.75" and have no rubbing. I have a 255/35/18 in back and 225/40/17 up front.
I'll help you find tires and wheels if you are positive on your boltpattern. It just seemed contradictory.

Thanks Rishie
