3rd gen spring/shock replacement
I am going to replace the springs and shocks on my '93, the rubber that mount the assembly on the car are deteriorated. Is there any other option besides the dealer for these parts??? Any recommendations for springs/shocks, I don't want to drop it very far - the roads are terrible where I live in Florida.
Thanx in advance

Those rubber sheets, and mounts are strictly Mazda parts. There are no aftermarket sources. Mazda Comp sells the sheets for $11/piece. I don't remember how much the "pillow ball mounts" were.
Eibach springs and Tokico Illuminas would be a nice setup for you. The Eibach springs drop the car rather conservatively at 3/4-inches. The Illumina shocks are adjustable from a small dial located on top of the shock. The special detents, and arrowed numbers let you know the setting. 1 is the softest, 5 is the hardest. With the Eibachs, your usable settings will be between 2 and 4, since both 1 and 5 are too extreme to match up with the Eibach springs.
While you're at it, you might as well add Eibach sway bars and front sway bar mount reinforcers. Don't forget to make sway bar stops for the new bars. Eibach doesn't provide them. You could end up braking the rear sway bar end links resulting from the side-to-side sway bar movement, if you don't install the sway bar stops.
