2nd Gen fitment 18'wheels / rims

Wheel experts:
will these rims fit a 91' convertible?

Bolt pattern : 5 x 114.3

Size : 18 x 8.5(front) & 18 x 9.5(rear)

Offset : 32mm(front) & 35mm(rear)

if not how can you fix ?

Usually you use spacers to fit wheels that dont. But these are so freakin large that they'll over shoot the fenders. So I'll go with a classic Ted answer and say:

No.

I have 18" 8.5's all the way around with a 40 series tire and they fit just fine. They have never rubbed even under very hard cornering. However, it should be noted that I'm running KYB AGX (2 in front and 6 on the rear) with Eibach proset springs (.8" drop I think), a Racing Beat front sway bar and RB HD adjustible end links. You will sacrifice some ride quality though. I have a set of 16's with a 50 series tire and the ride was much smoother, but it was to low (kept dragging my presilencer across mild speed bumps).

Check out the attached.

The front wheels at 32 mm offset will bring the tire wheel assembly 17 mm closer to your spring. Measure the space available now that will tell you if they fit. As for the fender clearance 33 mm closer to the fender should not pose a problem. I must say you will probably have to run 8 mm spacers in the front. That will definitely bring your wheel out too far.

18's will look terrible on most FCs in my opinion. My friend had trouble fitting 18 x 8 in front so he just ditched it and ran 17s instead.

you guys are ******* retarded.

the rears will fit fine.
the fronts will fit with a small spacer... ~5-7m should work, depending on your suspension. and you may need to roll the fender depending on what size tire you try and run. I would probably stick with 225/40, and you should probably be fine without rolling them.

I have no spacers at all and the fenders aren't rolled. No rubbing anywhere, under any condition.

they wil fit perfectly.
run the lowest profile possible to keep the tire O.D. as short as possible.
235 front and 255 rear willk fit very nicely.

I had 17x8 and 17x9 both +35 before I went widebody and it fit superrrrrnice.

fitment can also depend on what suspenison you are running..

with my cusco coilovers, i couldnt run 17x8 +35.. +30 was about the highest i could go, and it had very minimal clearance...

you *may* need to run a small slip on spacer on the front..
