Question 2nd Gen Bolt Pattern (Yet Again)

I got the inline on purchasing a special made pair of Volk te37's, 17x9 in the front, 17x10 in the rear.

They were originally made for a 3rd gen but i would like to put them on my 87 turbo II second gen RX7. I have enough power to hold 255's in the back and 235's in the front so thats not a problem.

I just need to know if the 5x114.3 bolt pattern will fit my car.

Thanks for all your help!

5x114.3 will fit a Turbo II. If the wheels fit a 3rd gen they probably won't fit your car well.

I think they will fit my car, yet im a little woried about the fronts.

Will a 17x9 rim fit in the front on my 87? I'm planning on putting a 235 on it.

Thanks!

What's the offset? That will answer your question.

dunno the offset, but i'm running 16x7 with 225/50's.. It's pretty close, but it fits with zero rubbing.

I'm running 18x8, +30 mm offset up front with 225/40/18. I could run 235's, but they'd probably rub the fender a little. In the rear I have 18x9, +30 mm offset in the rear with 275/35/18. This MAY rub the fender, but I may get by without having to roll the fenders. I won't know for sure until I get my new ignition sensor and can start my car.

You can go to https://www.rx7club.com/vforums/show...threadid=12248 for pictures.

Looks cool!

I'm starting to get the feeling that a 9inch wide rim with 235's in the front is going to be a problem.

Are you talking about the wheels for sale on the parts trader? I think they were 17x9, +40mm, 17x10, +45 mm. Those wouldn'r fit. The fronts would rub the sorings, and the rears would rub the trailing arms.

Now if you also bought a 3rd gen with the wheels they'd work; but that would be one expensive set of wheels.
