225's up front ok?

I just want to double check before I go out spending the cash for these tires.

I've got an 88 SE, Eibach Springs, Tokico shocks, 16x7" wheels with a +40mm offset.

I want to get 225/50/16 all around...anyone see any problems with this?

Thanks in advance,
James

I have the same tire size on mine and I have no problems with it except for a little rubbing when you turn the wheel all the way....

I ran into this problem. I purchased some Avons 225/50's all the way around. I had problems with the front rubbing pretty hard especially in turns that put a lot of load in that direction. I attempted to roll the fenders a little bit but it was rubbing too much and eventually cut the tread of the tire down on the outside. I ended up running KDW's in the front because they offered a 45 series whereas Avon did not. I do have AGX's and Tein springs.
