225/45's on 17x7.5's under an FC?

Can i squeeze a set of 225/45's on 17x7.5" rims (43mm offset) under my 1990 N/A?

I was thinking of using Kumho ECSTA Supra 712's (apparently some tires have different sectional width, etc.?)

Thanks!,

The rears will fit fine. The fronts may rub the springs. If you go with 225's in the rear put one of the times on the front to see if it will rub. If it does then you should be able to use 215/45/17's.

43mm might be too mush of an offset for a 7.5in rim. 35mm would fit a little better in the front. Rears I believe a 7.5in rim would need less of an offset, but you should ask ARDTII. He'll probablly rec. 8x17 fronts and 9x17 rears. Not bad for a 2600lb car.
