Talking 20's on FD

I was wondering if anyone could tell me how to fit 20's to a FD.

A friend of mine is running 19's with 235/35/19 front and 275/30/19 rear still with inner guards and lowered ohlins suspension, also some slight lipping of guards.

Is it possible to fit 20's still with inner guards etc? And if so what wheels and widths will fit?

Aesthetic issues aside, I think it will be very hard to find tires that will fit on a 20" wheel and still fit in the wheel well. The maximum diameter you can fit is 25.7" or so, and that will rub through the stock fender liners quickly. It seems you'd have to go 25 or 30 series with pretty narrow tires, which don't even seem to be available in any of the tire models I looked at.

Can anyone tell me how to fit 31's on my ten speed Huffy? If you have to ask a question like that, you obviously not only have too much money on your hands but do not deserve a 7. It is obvious that you would much prefer to go put TRD stickers all over your Mom's stock Camry 4cyl. than to appreciate the way the handling was designed in the 7.

Gentlemen, we were too hard on the new guy...maybe he's just trying to get a rise out of us veteran FD owners/racers?

The official answer is--"no comment"...

In response to all the stick i have been receiving these wheels where only meant to be for shows and crusing around my local area with my friendson Weekends, so i was aking in the off chance that someone may have had them fitted and could give me advice!!!!.

I use 17's to drive everyday of the week normally and experience the joys of owning the best car i have owned. It is also frequently seen on a race track doing laps, so i do use it as intended by Mazda.

I hope in future to get advice like that of MaxCooper not heckled like some others.

Oh and no-go had 20's all the way around but I think he drove to the show with 19's on the front and 20's on the back. And when he got parked he'd jack up the car put the 20's on the front. Which I think is gay.

Why not just drill some holes in a rock, im sure they would ride as smooth as 20's on a 7.

I can think of about 50 other things I'd get to improve my R1 than 20 inch Blingalicious rims.

No insult intended, but it must be nice to have the cash to toss down the tubes...
