18x8'' and 18x9'' wheels

hi, ive been looking for some good wheels to put on my 1990 TII and ive found a great design that looks clean and cool. i just want to know if anybody here has 18x9'' on the back of there fc's, i want to get a wheel that is almost as wide as my rear fender or at least that it gets as close as it can. well ill put the wheels im looking at. i still don't know what color to go on my fc, black or gunmetall they both look great and my fc is white so any of the 2 colors should look good.

thanks

I run 18x9.5 on the back sometimes... you can fit a bit wider with the right offsets.

and IMHO, I would go with the gunmetal - black with the polished lip seems like its EVRYWHERE these days. but, it still looks good. so its up to you! lol.

do you think the 9'' will fit good on the back and come as close as the size to the fender???? the think is that this rims come in 18x9 as the biggest size. if i want 9'5' ill have to go 19'' in this rim style and that's too big.

thanks

Wheel diameter doesn't mean anything.
Wheel width is what counts.
16"...17"...18" doesnt matter.
The offset specs are still all the same.
9.0", +35 in back is typical.

what size tire do you want to run. and what offsets to they offer? I think even a 9 with a 255 tire on it would fill out the fender really well with the right offset.
