18 X 9 50mm offset 285mm Rear Tires Clears?
Hello, I was wondering if anyone here has 18 X 9 with 50mm offset while running 285's on them in the rear for a FD?
Using JimLab's wheel and tire sizing guide, I plugged in 50mm for 18 X 9 using 255mm rear tire and the spacing is coming up as:
0.96 inch outside clearance and 0.54 inch inside clearance. The 285's add about 15mm (0.59 inch) of tire on each side. According to the excel sheet, these tires won't clear on the inside. However, with 275mm rear tires, that's 10mm or 0.39 inch added per side and that clears according to the Jimlab excel sheet. I'm not sure how accurate that thing is.
Has anyone tried running the 285's on the 18 X 9 with 50mm offset?
