Tire size? wide body or no?
Here is what I have for your reference. 17 x 9.5 w/ +38mm offest, running a 275-40 tire.. My new tires are surprisingly blocky and appear to be a tad wider ( WHY? I don't know) so I'm running a 5mm spacer but I ordered a 3mm spacer instead.. I don't "need" a spacer at all but they are close... So the answer to you question is, if your running a 10" with a 275, which is about max without flairs, I'd say get a +32 to +27mm offset should do it... I've had 10's on my car and its real tight and you have to be spot on with tire size..... Something to think about....

I've done 10" +40 with 285/30/18 on FC. STock fenders with about 2 degrees neg camber.

Ummmmmm both of those will be WAY to close to the trailing arm for my taste.. in fact.. the latter... i can't see clearing the trailing arm with a +40 unless some whack toe adjustments were made...

If you are going to run wheels and tire that are a puss hair off the swingarm, you really need to install the toe eliminator bushings.. if seen cars with a nice chunk of melted rubber on the top of the trailing arm already.

Wow, I would like to see that one on a FC.. I thought mine were big. Again, I have a 9.5" +38mm w/ 275-40-17 and its pretty close, but it doesn't rub, so I ran a 5mm spacer until my 3mm spacers arrived.. now its perfect... The toe elimators help, but I took mine off.

Everyones car seems to be a little different. I also run an 8.5 +40mm w/ Tein's running a 225-45 up front... Close, but it doesn't rub...

The bottom line here is, IF you want high HP numbers you have to run wide tires or the HP upgrades is a big waste of time and cash... My sizes are nothing compared other cars I've seen. Kevin Wyum's FD runs 315's with no flairs or any mods... He had to "custom" bend the trailing arms.. But it works. Keep in mind he runs close to 700rwhp (T66 x 2).... My weenie 450-500hp doesn't seem like much does it? heehee... Kevin's car rules.
