18" wheels ugly with stock springs (FD3S)?

Yo guys,

Anyone have 18" wheels with stock springs that they could post?

My current setup is tokicos with eibach on 18" wheels but the car is too low for the messed up streets here in Los Angeles. I'm thinking about going back to stock suspension and springs but would like to see how the car looks first. Thanks!

Tasteful 18" wheels look good on stock height muscle car suspension. Those cars were made to sit up high and have that beefy aggressive, weight-transfer look IMO.

The FD however, is meant to be a low slung, fast looking sleek car. 18" plus stock suspension is not the best look for the FD in my opinion, no offense

stock springs -- although shocks may not be as high as if they had lower miles on them. 18" ADRs

Have you considered a set of Coilovers so that you can adjust the height at will?

dude, I know I was suppose to be looking for wheel gap but I just kept staring at the exhuast Makes me want one too!

Nice ride! The headlights really give the car definition.... but back to topic - wheel gap wasn't as big as I thought. Very helpful, thanks. The shocks/springs so unfortunately I don't get the natural sag in this case.

Totally agree... hence I wanted to see some pics and what other forum members thought. I had my car for a week bone stock before I changed out suspension/wheels. I'm struggling whether I want to invest in coilovers

Yes, that's the current dilemna right now. However, the car is a garage queen. I've only driven about ~5k miles in the last 5 years. Hard to justify the costs.

It'll look better when you don't have super low offsets sunken inside the fender a bit), or super low profile tires (like 285/30's). So look at 40+ offsets, and like a 265/35 or 275/35 rear tire with appropriate matching front.
