18 inch tire question

i will soon be purchasing some wheels 18x8.5 +45 up front and 18x9.5 +45 in rear. i searched and found that these will fit well. my questions is for tire sizes. ive seen 265/40 or 275/40 in rear and 235/40 or 245/40 in front. which would be a better match. im leaning towards 245/40 and 265/40 as 275 wont make that much of a difference. or is 40 series to tall of a tire and i should go with 35?
