18 or 17 on an FC?

i've got vert 15s on my gxl now, and they're nice, but i want to go bigger and wider. i'm looking at the konig tantrums on tiredirect.com for 130 for 17 and 150 for 18... each... what do you guys think? even if you hate the rims, what do you think about seventeens and eighteens. do eighteens rub? anyone have eighteens with a one inch drop, which is what i would have? i'm looking for some personal experiences here. thanks

z naert.

It all depends if your going show or pure performance.

225's are awfully close on the front. Not sure if you want to any wider than that...
