17x9's on an FC`
Has anyone fit 17x9's under all 4 corners of an FC?
I have a chance to get 4 Momo Racer 17x9's in the FC bolt pattern (not sure of the offset yet) for $250. I'm wondering if I should or not, and was curious if I could fit them w/o rubbing.

You will not be able to fit them in the front without rubbing. 8J is about as large as you can go there unless you get some blister fenders. CorkSport has a set of knock-off BN Sports fiberglass fenders that add 30mm of room to play with. With them you can fit the same size wheels front and rear. But they'll fit in the back just fine if the offset is good. I'm not 100% on this, but I think +35 or very close to that will be good.
Actually in the front you'll need a +20 to 25, and the rear a +35 to +40 will work fine.
At 8" with +38 offset you're running pretty close in the front to the spring/strut body. So you'll need to add 15mm of offset to the backspacing of the wheel since you're adding a half inch there.

I have 17 x 8 in the front and 9's in the rear. I tried the 9's up front and they do work but steering in limited... With the right offset and back spacing it will work....
Thats damn cheap for wheels though...buy them! Brad
