17x9" with 30mm offset on rear of FC?

Will 17x9" rims with a 30mm offset fit on the rear of my FC. Also what tires would go godd on these?245/40/17? I am also looking at getting 17x7 in the front...what offset? 30mm? 40mm? Thanks in advance.

If doing 17,7 in front use a +30-35, if doing an 8" up front, do a +37-+40.

In the rear, I would reccomend going with a +35-+38, and use a 255/40/17 in rear and 225/45/17 up front.

Thanks, Rishie

The rims I am looking at getting are the Konig Tantrum from whalentire.com. They only show the 17x9 with a 40mm offset, & I believe the 17x7 with either a choice of 30 or 40mm. Would any of those sizes work? What problems would I have? Thanks again.

I have 18x9 with a +30 mm offset out back on my car with 275/35/18's. The tires rub over bumps. So I'm rolling the fenders. 255's should fit well.

In the front I have 18x8 with a +30mm offset, 225/40/18. Any wider and I may rub the fenders. With a 17x7 and a +40 mm offset you may have trouble with 225's rubbing the springs--215's may be needed. A +30 mm offset should allow for 225's.

17x9 with a +40 mm offset will probably work with 245's, no wider.
