Will 17x9 255/40-17 require fender rolling or rub in any circumstances such as auto-x, step driveway entrances ect.

this is for all 4 corners and for an fd.

thanks

I supposed it would depend on your offset. I am running 17x9s with a 45mm offset and 255/40/17, as well as Tanabe lowering springs. The only time I get rubbing is if I hit a bump with the wheels turned.

They come in 43 mm offsets. Sorry. Will the 2mm make a difference. Sorry for the dumb question

With stock suspension, you will most likely never catch the fender lip (unless hitting a bump hard with significant steering lock). With lowering springs, there will be increased chances of catching the lip but shouldn't be a problem, given a little care/attention.
