17 x J11 Offset

I currently have 3 peace 17x J10 on the rear of my car with a offset of – 20 if I have worked it out correctly, these wheels stick out of the arch by about 1inch which isent a problem at this time, now what I want to do is change the back of the rim for one that is an inch bigger making the overall wheel a 17 x J11 with a offset of –19.5.
The way I have worked this out is by measuring the overall width of the rim which would be 305mm / by 2 to get the centre line, and minuses the ‘T’ dimension which is the measurement from the back of the bolt on face to the outside of the inner rim. Have I worked out the offset correctly and if so can someone tell me if its gona rub on my trailing arms. I want to run 315/35/17 if that’s of any help.
