17" wheels question
Is there a such thing as 17" wheels in a 17x8 and 17x9 minimum size for around $800. I need some new tires BADLY and want to go ahead and get some fairly nice rims for now to hold me over till I can afford some Volks or something I like more. I used to see some nice ones all the time, and now that I need some, I cant find any. Anyone know of a place to look? Thanks for any help.

i can get you brand new lightweight rims for around that price in that size. Probably $800.00 shipped. they are a 5 spoke similar to the stock FD wheel and made by Enkei.
Call me if interested, I can get them in two days. (408)799-6723. No tax, if out of state.
thanks, Rishie

Are you talking about the RP01's? I've actually been considering those, but havent decided on those because they look SO close to stock. $800 including shipping is about what I've seen them for, so I'm definetely considering that offer of yours, but out of curiosity, are there any other styles you can get for around that much?
And just in case you need/want it for shipping costs, my zip code is 33872.

Ah the mall. Ha, thank your dad for us. That's the only thing there is to do around here. Without that, well, actually I guess we'd all hang out at Wal Mart then. Now you know why I take my car apart all the time just for the pure joy of it. We have a few 3rd gens here actually. Mine, another red touring (sometimes, actually lives in Orlando now), a red R1 (never met the owner, but he and his wife wave all the time). During the season the race school is here, there's a 94 motego blue PEP, and a black R2 also. Too many 1st and 2nd gens to name too. Not a bad little rotary town considering the size.
