Question

Damn! These are the wheels I've been eyeing for my FD....

They look great but....I'm not sure they're worth this much fuss.

I want to get the 18" - anyone know how much they weigh???

How much they cost???

Question

rotoboy661 sent you a PM....

How much are these wheels new? Do they weight less than 20 lbs a piece?

Just so you know - I have been to the Mackin Industrires Web Site and cannot find the weight info there - only sizes and offsets.

Someone has gotta know.......

Well, Here they are...I love the wheels but I can't say I would ever order from Volk again. ****** are too slow.

Anyway, here are some pics for you.

I hope to do H&R sport springs by the end of the year...Coilovers are next summer...This rebuild, wheels, and everything else has totally raped my wallet.

I have the 17x9 and 17x10....Without the wheel the 9s weighed 19Lbs and then the 10s weighed 21Lbs...

I weighed the rear wheel with the tire and it was 54Lbs. don't know why I didn't weigh the front...Kinda gives you an appreciation for how light the stockers are...

Eh? Do you mean, without the tire?

Anyway, nice looking wheels. It's about time they came through!

They look nice, too bad that they're not going to sell the other f pros anymore.I don't know why it took you so long to get them it usually doesn't take that long.

It's just my luck that most manufacturers try and **** me over when I order anything. this was not the exception

How do you know? Please, share this info with us.

There are a plethora of variables involved. When you deal with companies like Volk and with a product as pricey as wheels, you are going to have to wait.

I was thinking of getting the wheels so i went to a volk dealer that i have bought rims from in the past.I asked the guy i always go through and when i told him the rims i wanted he told me sorry he couldn't get those for me, anyother grams i wanted he could get , but not those.I couldn't believe it so i kept asking him, i as thinking in my head wtf is up with him today, and he told me the reason he couldn't get them for me is because RO_JA another rim manufactuar bought them out from rays, so now they own they rights to the 57 f pros.

I ordered them since 9/17/04 and dealer just told me today they send it out and I shall receive by 3/18/05. This made 16 weeks waiting period piece of cake

Not sure what take them so long to get these wheels here. As far as RO_JA comment, I don't think so as Rays still produce them.
