[FD] Need help choosing the right tyre size

Hey guys,

I think i've been through every possible calcluator and site but now I need empirical experience feedback.

1- My car is currently on stock wheels with new kyb Gr2 schocks and Tein S-tech springs which lower the front 1.4" (it's a LOT) and the rear 1.3".

2- I want to go Rota Torque Drift (Work Emotion CR-Kai copy) 9x17 with 35 offset (this is the highest offset availabe). I want 9" also in front to get the nice concave look, anything smaller will give the flat look.

3- I know that with these springs, offset and width, I most probably will have to roll a bit the front fenders. Rears should be OK.

4- Tyres:

- oem 225/50/16 are 63.14cm diameter

- rears will be 255/40/17 = 63.58cm

- front: here's my dilema!

(i) 225/45/17 will be 63.43cm diameter but the minimum spec for 9" rim is 235, 225 is out of spec, might be uggly and not safe on occasional track events (steet use?)
(ii) 235/40/17 will give 61.98cm diameter. 1.16cm smaller than stock. Does it mean that it will clear 0.58cm more between top of the tyre and top of the fender (good) but also drop the nose of the car by approx. additional 0.58cm (bad: my front lip is already scratching the floor of my garage entrance)?
(iii) 235/45/17 will give 64.33cm diameter. 1.19cm taller than stock. Does it mean that the wheel will be 0.595cm closer to the top of the fender (bad with my springs) and that it will also raise the height of my nose by approx. 0.595cm (good for my scratching issue)

I won't go larger than 235 because 9" with 35 offset will already stick the wheel a tiny bit out of the fender (few mm).

My logic would orient me to the smallest diameter to be safe with fender rubbing issues, ok it would scratch the front lip a little more but that's not so bad as big fender rubbing issue.

The best logic would be to go with coilovers or get rid of the s-tech and replace by eibach or so, but that's too much hurdle, i just got them installed!

Help? Pics of similar rims with these offset and width?

Cheers
