s5 na timing/afr ??'s

Ok, finally got my exhaust setup properly. so I can put her on a dyno and tune..
Where should I start with timing.. and what should I shoot for on afr...
setup: s5na healthy streetport/stock exhaustports w/tIIsleeves..but no5/6thsleeves s5 intake ported/cleaned up..coldair intake.. ported throttlebody.. corksport header.. bonez cat.. apexi catback.. stock injectors TII fuel pump.. SAFC.. for now lt12 next week..
My base map that I put down tonight was dead rich(12's:1) and I only made 137hp.. which is sad.. I've got Unlimited dyno time.. So help a friend out...

since you just have an SAFC for tuning, leave the timing more or less stock. you can go a bit total advance (adjusted with the CAS) which sometimes helps with a bit of power. but no more than a few degrees. see what you get on the dyno.

i've never been on a dyno yet with my car, but for AFR 12.5 at WOT (wide open throttle) across the range is a good starting point. then you can start leaning out a bit and see what that does for power. i wouldn't go leaner than mid 13s at WOT. keep in mind also the stock ECU isn't the most consistent.
for cruise (<25% throttle) lean it out as much as you can.

these are my results from streetuning my NA with a SAFC (i have stockport only though, not streetport):

I have a similar set up. But no street port and kept stock fuel pump.
I run mine at 14.5 and up to 15 in fifth just for cruising. She runs great.
Never any problems. But every motor is a little different. 14.5 is pretty
safe with an N/A 7. Even with the street port, the stock fuel pump would
have been fine. I actually have fuel taken away through out the rpm band.
Plugs look great also. Good luck!
