MAP sensor?????
hey, ive heard somewhere............dont remember where...............that ppl use the MAP sensor instead of TPS for the S-AFC, is that the truth or jsut a romor??
also, i know this sounds dumb, but where is the TPS??? i did the throttle body mod and the only electrical conector i pulled off only contacts the throttle lever for like 1/4 throttle (guessing its a solenoid for 3k accelerated warmup??) im confused though cause i have 3 Throttle bodys in my basement and none of them have any electronic compontents on them aside from the mentioned above....

The tps is right in front of the throttle body. If you have the FSM, go to section 4. Look in the index for the control system and then the throttle sesor. There are pictures and procedures for adjusting it. I find it hard to believe that you could be running with it disconnected!
Yes people do run off the MAP/Pressure sensor. I cannot remember which wire you tap into though. People do it because the S4 TPS is so narrow. I will see if I can find out the wire and post here if/when I find it.
