just got safc-2... need help

just like all the other posts i have ever made--i need help. i just picked up a s-afc2 and wired it in tonight. heres what i need to know:

I have heard ppl say to wire it via pressure sensor but i dont know how.

if you could give me some incite on this that would be great. i am going to have the car tuned 2marrow and i need to have it hooked up correctly before then.

thanks

Anyone? i went to the dyno today but it wouldnt even run well enough to tune it----i need some help with the settings. If you have the blue and grey wires tapped into the map wire, do i still run flap type, 5in 5out, 4cyl arrow up and right?are there any wires that go to the TPS wire on the ECU? With the SAFC wired in normal, it wont boost. when ever i come up tp zero it dies out and when you let off it back fires. any suggestons??

thanks

I assume the wiring is good or you wouldn't be running at all.

When you select settings/etc/sensor chk, do the values look reasonable?

The manual (typically) tells how the settings work, but not how to set it up.
Reading between the lines, you have to do the initialize procedure before setting parameters.
(settings/etc/initialize/Yes/Next, then key off and on)

Then set the 5 in 5 out, up, flap

Since the THR input is from the pressure sensor, the hi & lo THR values need to reflect cruise (10-40) & full boost (70-90).
My low throttle set is 30 and my high throttle set is 80.

I hope there is something here that helps.

I just realized you have the S-AFC II.
I hope the S-AFC program sequence above is about the same.
