hrrrmmm....lights on S-AFC off???

hey guys, i jsut threw my S-AFC in. and when i spliced it in and tried it the first time it wouldnt turn off w/the ignition. well, yesterday i finished my shitty mount in the panel under the radio (i need to make another one cause this one looks like *** lol) and i pluged it in and tried again. it turns off w/the ignition now, woooo whoooo!! but sence im childish and the car isnt running, as soon as i got home from work i went into the car and turned it on again to look at it! its dark at this point so i turn on the lights. the S-AFC cuts out and then comes back on. so i turn the lights off and then back on and this time it starts the start up sequence but resets before the SAFC and all that comes on to the screen, it jsut blinks along the side of the display!!

can anyone tell me what i did wrong??? spliced it in as the manual said!! and i printed off the install procedure for the US applications too!!

HELP!

You definitely hooked up one of the wires wrong. When i installed my afc2, it wouldnt turn on and i just redid all the splicing and sure enough it turned on. You must have a loose connection somewhere. good luck with it

I had a couple dead wires in my used S-AFC harness ( that wasn't working right, so I boght a new one on ebay). I just used some of the extra ones.
