Air/fuel ratio and SAFC-II Dyno tuning.

Well, first of all, I searched, but I cant find anything solid. The information I find varies a whole lot.

I want to know, I am running a SAFC-II, 720 secondaries and a walbro fuel pump, boost controller set at 10.5 PSI. My air fuel ratio at full boost is 11.3:1. In some threads, I saw that that is to rich and I could have more hp and still be reliable if it ran a bit leaner, and on other threads it seems that I would be right on the money...I am really confused. Take note that I will never sacrifice reliability for power...So what should be my A/F ratio? Is 11.3:1 really what I need, or is it a tad rich?

Just a treat.

Thanks.

I wouldn't got leaner than 11.7:1 or so. you have no timing control with the SAFC so that doesn't help.

^Agreed.

What dyno was your run on? Do you have a chart? I'm interested in your power curve.

LOW 12's should be ok since you have a front mount and proper fuel for your boost set up. good luck. Nice car though
