3rd GEN S-AFC II Black Limited

I have a SAFC2 in my 3rd gen. I spoke with ray at PFsupercars and he told me I should just pull it out. I haven't done this yet. I would like to know if I should or will it mess up all my stuff? And I'd like to know how to work it b/c I can't figure it out from the manual and I'm not about to mess up my fuel and air flow. Also Ray said he couldn't tune the car with the SAFC2. Now I have seen them on the older RX-7's but not any 3rd gens is there a reason for this?

i've seen plenty of 3rd gens being tuned with a safc 1 and safc2 and they run pretty damn good.

The power FC will supercede the S-AFC, which you can then sell.

I planned on selling it once I did get a PFC. But is it going to be ok if I unplug it now? with out the PFC or is it going to mess up everything when I unplug it?

The S-AFC should have the connector with it when you sell it.

When you remove the S-AFC, you will have to reconnect the in & out MAP signal wires back to each other.
Then the ECU will work exactly like when it was stock.
