Help! I have a 1997 Mazda rx7 and am trying to set the points of which I am having no luck in doing. I set the points as per proceedure and put all back together and some times the lead points are ok but when I adjust the trailing points it changes the leading and trailing dwell. So far I am down to 13 thousants and am still to high on the dwell. I am doing somyhling wrong and when the dwell is high I close the point gap and vice versa. Any advice? I did try to set withe the other methed of swithing the wires but the car just dies. Also I see no slot to pry the points against yo move the points one way or the other. I need velp very much as I have been dealing with this for the last 7 days with no success. Thanks Wally
