Just my opinion and I am entitled to it. If you are sitting here telling me with your 16 total posts, you purchased everything for a 4 rotor that somebody else is building for you, since you have probably never even worked on a rotary in your life. But now decided you just want to sell it all so you can take a supra or a skyline apart (so you can put it back together? ). That is called, getting in over your head. Your right, I don't know you, but I know the type.

Good luck on your conquest.

I've done assloads of research over 3 & 4 rotor engines. I was contemplating a 4-rotor or a short crank 3 rotor at one point but I decided to build a 20b 3-rotor instead. No one ever argued that a 3 rotor would cost less than $8500..... I know what this stuff costs.

I'm not blowing sunshine up anyones ***, there is alot of $ involved in these engines. A lot of research must be done before someone decides to dive right in one of these types of projects.
Call Mazdaspeed....ask them how much the 4 rotor e-shaft costs then get back to me. If you can find one for $10k you are getting a good deal on a used one. The kiwi-re stuff is priced more competitively but not the same quality as the factory parts.

one 4-rotor turbo bmw

yes there are more but since its impossible, one should be enough.
hayward rotary in the UK have a 4 rotor fd in the build

I rest my case.

I was not even trying to be an *** about it when i said you were in over your head. It happens to people all the time. But good luck with the sell. I am sure you will have better luck with a supra.

Thats interesting. Jeff Bruce makes the parts for Kiwi, and his 20b e-shafts are also sold through Mazda(comp) as OEM replacement. Care to explain this if Kiwi-re stuff is not up to Mazda comp quality standards?

So if you include the FD and suspension mods and paint and drivetrain mods and wheels and gauges and seats and whatever else, than sure, 60k buys you a 4 rotor NA FD.

I rather spend an extra 10k and get the new GT-R

That's my cup of tea.

this **** cracks me up..........first guy to post starts of by being super insultive........followed by other jacka**es.........

I find this site always has a few ........

the minute the ole chap lets them know what he has done its all appologetic and soft toned..........LOL

I asked some questions on here a few times out of curiousity..and got the same response.........it doesnt matter that I too lived in Uk and built Formula Ford engines and lived in the caribbean and built rotary PPorts all day..and own one of the most sucessful cars in the Caribbean......BUT all my work has been carb...so I asked about some satnd alone stuff GOT SHOT DOWN!!! LIKE MY MATE HERE

I have a honors degree in engineering from Bolton UK.......but i like to learn a thing or 2 from the guys that have done it......I can humble myself LIKE OILCAN to find out things....why cant some of these other COCKY idiots do the same?

HEY OILCAN.....good luck with your build.....PM me with any results you may acheive .cheers mate....

I once considered doing 2 13b back to back using a simple coupler....the one that has more power will bring the less power engine up to speed, but it was just a fun idea...for a cheap way to do it....LOL

Hey there Guys,

I've built many quad rotor engines for top forms of motorsport worldwide (MadMike D1 Drift Rx-7 just to mention 1)

The engines are no more difficult to build than a 13b they just take a little longer, however the engineering doe's require some rather precise & care before assembly. On our website we cater for all levels of those wanting a 4 rotor engine including a kit that includes:
All modyfied parts required to practically use the parts from 2 x 13b's
Chromolly Crankshaft based on factory 26b design
2 x New sideplates incorporating stationary gears,
Counterweights,
Extra bearing oil feeders.
Throught bolts.
Instructions on assembly

We also sell to other packages that are both very popular, PPRE Quad rotor short block which is a complete built 4 rotor "crete" engine block & a complete package quad rotor that is a turn key like option.

We run our engines in many different applications from street to turbo charged 1000+Hp jetsprint boats. Vids on our site to
www.ppre.co.nz or pulseperformancere.com

Ban in 3...2...1. I'm sure you do great work. Might want to read the TOS and get a vendor package before trying to advertise.

^***.

I'd say they're the most informative post in this thread.

They cite running vehicles, prices, parts, and prices.

Everything this thread has needed.

Fing google brought me to this **** again.......

did see a couple decent posts with good info.
Did a search and was brought here, and then having read through 3 pages of mostly crap to find like three posts of useful information (only slightly exaggerated for effect.) so that that bitch about doing searches and that bitch about the n00bs that dont know what they are getting into. well thats what these damn forums are for FINDING THIS **** OUT.
**** people 3 pages of crap could have been avoided in the first place just by simply posting a few links....
