Oh, cool. That's *almost* what my '70 Cutlass made, stock.

I keed! That's "gross" FWHP, and to be fair, the Cutlass weights almost 4000 lbs...

I picked up the UIM/LIM and piping and it all looks great with the ceramachrome on them. I will start installing this weekend.

LIM is on with new SS block-off plates, SS OMP lines and fuel system. Just waiting on a few more parts (turbo and oil feed/return lines), and then will start reinstalling everything else. I've bought cars for less money then what I've spent on this upgrade.

Feh. Welcome to ANY enthusiast car ownership.
You'd be surprised at how much I've poured into my Cutlass, and yet it still looks like a $500 car...

OO, that's nice! Nice median between aluminum and chrome, plus, I presume, heat rejection.
I need to do that that to some of the bits on my Cutlass. dent repair and paint first, though. Then bodywork and paint on the '90 FC. Then... ah, I'm never going to get to everything, am I?
You made the right choice starting with a clean, straight, good-condition example.

All is going as planned. Fuel system and OMP lines are done. I have to pressure check it before I put the UIM and TB back on. I'm just waiting on turbo to get back from BNR. I dont think I will post any more pictures, so you will have to come out to the monthly meet to see the end results. HAHA

Tease!
Did you build the OMP lines from McMaster-Carr stuff yourself? Those worked pretty darn well on Matt's car when I did it.

Take some photos of everything in daylight. The meets suck because they're at night. Not as easy to see everything that well. Unless you're trying to hide imperfections?

Post photos, it's not hard to do.

The meets suck because nobody shows up. OMP lines are from forum member. He sells all different colors of SS braided lines. I did buy all the stuff to do the lines myself, but when I found the SS ones for sale, I picked up a set of those.

Got turbo in last night, it looks good. It is missing 1 of the studs for the downpipe, so I will be getting new studs and have on order new couplers for the turbo inlet/outlets. I also found that the oil return fitting I got will not work on this turbo so I have ordered a new one.

Ain't that how it always is? It's never big stuff, just all the little stuff that sets you back.

Pretty! But you couldn't find another TII intake and cut/grind off all the extra fittings, bolt bosses, etc. before coating? (That way, you're OEM one stays... OEM.)
