Talking Well i made it!

Well Like I said a month or so ago, I finally moved out to Fort Worth Texas. I now live in the Avington Park Apartments in Fossil Creek if anyone knows where those are. I don't have the 7 out here yet but I plan on having it shipped out here in a couple months. Anyone live in the area? Also on a side topic, what are the smog laws like out here? And what are the registration procedures?

Some counties require a dyno smog test. Visual is not important unless yours looks like it was butchered. Areas close to the large cities usually require these tests. You can check on the TX web site for info about these and registration.

I run a single without a cat but have a working air pump. Once a year the cat is put back on along with a leaner map and it passes the test here in Houston.

Welcome!
Smog testing in Tarrant, Dallas, and immediately surrounding counties in this area. 25+ years old are exempt. Registration's pretty easy at your local tax collector's office.

I live near that area, off 377. Steve Kan runs a shop around 35 right?
Tarrant county does require dyno emissions testing for cars produced before 96(pre-OBD). Find a tarrant county tax office for registration.
