UT > OU

That is all.

Wait, no that's not all.

UT Defense > *

290+ lbs. Defensive lineman running 60+ yds for a touchdown ==

Ok, that's all.

I liked how Young fubared a snap and still got 10 yards. That was awesome.

I think the only way OU could be any more demoralized was if both UT lines ran train on the OU cheerleaders. It'd be like "Debbie Does Dallas II" or something.

I was at the game and it was beautiful to hear all the excuses that the zero U fans would throw out. Greatness. Then at work to hear the complaints of bad calls. Priceless.

Texas needs some help though to get into the Rose Bowl they need to have USC and one more undefeated lose or I think unfortunately they will be left out due to the weakness of the Big 12.

weakness is BS.
SEC all beat each other up playing several rank teams in the conference and because of the loss it keeps national contention out of the pic.
It would be better if strength of schedual was a factor....it really doesnt account for much.
Texas finally got some OU but OU has smoked em for a few.
Now its if USC can lose....I hate them.

Yes VT's schedule is tougher than Texas.

I am a diehard Longhorn and always will be but you need to look at who we play. Granted the win in the shoe at Ohio State was huge and an attention grabber to the doubters in the country. If OU would have beaten a few teams then Saturday would have been a bigger win.

Who is in the Big 12 besides Texas? No one. Texas Tech is going to be our toughest game for the rest of the season. A&M isnt very good thanks to Colorado whipping them around for 60 minutes. Baylor is just Baylor. OK State can you say blowout when Texas goes to Stillwater. Who is good in the Big 12 show me some teams and we can talk but there arent any. I hate to say it but this conference this year is very very weak.

Now for VA Tech. They will have Florida State in the championship game. They have to play Miami and Boston College plus they played Georgia Tech a few weeks ago. They have 2 teams in the top 5 and 3 in the top 10 and 4 in the top 25. So you tell me which conference is tougher. I will go with the ACC.

Now, that Penn State is 6-0 you have to watch out for them from the big 10 but I also think that is a weak conference. They have there good teams and yes the beat each other up week in and week out but when you have a cellar dweller a year ago that is now your best team something is wrong.

The SEC we are going to need some help from a Georgia and Alabama loss they are both undefeated.

I just think that of all the major conferences that get an automatic bid to the BCS the big 12 is 4th on the list. The ACC is the best followed by the SEC and PAC 10 then comes the Big 12 followed by the Big 10 and who cares about the Big East.

Texas is going to need help from a Va Tech loss or a USC loss. If there are 3 undefeateds at the end of the year as much as I hate to say it I think that Texas will get left out due to how weak the rest of the Big 12 is.

I was referring to VTech's schedule up until now. It hardly was a tough schedule, and seeing as how they DO have a tougher schedule coming up, there's a good chance they'll have a loss in there. UT, on the other hand...

Texas has no excuses they should run the table. I agree I think VA Tech loses to Miami and I am gonna call the upset of USC to Notre Dame right now. If that happens then there is no doubt Texas would probably play Alabama or Florida State for the National Title. Who knows its a long season.

Ut's schedule isn't that weak, we do have colorado coming up, tech, A&M is always a challenge, sure the rankings might not idicate it, but I can tell you this much: Texas is a marked target and teams always through everything they have at them, I'm not so sure i could say the same for other conferences. There's no such thing as an easy game in the big12, it's just Texas is so phenomonal this year they making it look easy

I agree that Texas is a team playing phenomenal football right now and they are doing what they should be doing to every team that they play. They need to continue to dominate all opponents. If they have one close game they might not make it. I hope they do but I still think that they need some help along the road.

A&M I dont think is a challenge. Did you see what Colorado did to them this past week. Tech is our toughest remaining opponent. The only thing A&M has going for them is that the game is in Kyle this year and Reggie McNeal has never beaten Texas. I think they run the table. But the Big 12 is very weak.

Baylor right now is the 3rd best team in the South.

Weak conference.

I have to laugh at the claim that A&M is going to be a challenge...

Ut plays Colorado this weekend.

Given the fact UT stomped OU, and Colorado just got back in to the top 25, do you think UT will be sleepy this weekend, which might lead to an upset?

Or will they just beat the snocks out of CU?

you forget mack brown has a tendency to choke in big games. as long as he doesnt drop the ball somewhere, i think they will go far.

Colorado is a lot better than people give them credit for, the reason A&M got stomped is not because they suck as much as Colrado is playing really good football right now, they have strength on all sides of the ball, Klatt is a monster, Charles can run etc. Saturday's game is going to be black or white, total nailbiter or total blowouit. Good thing it's at home, that should help the Horns out quite a bit. In previous year's Mack has struggled in big games due to poor decisions by his staff and their "playing not to lose" philosophy, there is no more choking now as most of that staff has gone elsewhere, and the ones who remain appear to have taken on a different strategy. (not to mention the confidence Texas has now)Texas going for it on 4th down in the 1st quarter against their biggest rival is a pretty good inidcator they're not the same ol' Horns, thank God for that

If someone threw Greg Davis from a plane over the UT campus, with no parachute, I would be the happiest man alive.
