Yea that was horseshit. He had the ankle lock and then lost it. The two went standup and then Ken missed the kick and fell. Franklin got on top and started pounding him. Reff stopped the fight. I think Ken was ready to retire and let Franklin have the win to help give him a push.

The main even was pretty short but decent.

 

UFC isn't as good as it used to be. They started integrating too many rules into it. My firend back home has the original two fights and they were much better.

That was the one where they had the guy Tank, he got beat to a bloody pulp for most of the match, but ended up pinning the guy and won.

 

I don't know how ya'll watch that...

 

Entertainment and when you study martial arts you get a much different perspective for it.

What's cool is the skill involved with most of the fighters. Most have a vareity of fighting styles, ranging from Greco-Roman Wrestling, Kung Fu, Akido, Brazilian style Jiu-Jitsu and all kinds of other stuff.

Usually the winner is determined by the opponent who outsmarts his fighters moves.

A guy can get his *** kicked for well over 5-10 minutes, and might win by one swift kick, punch to the right place or a pin.
