Texans will get better
Kubiak is headed to Houston. I'll miss Gary. In case some of you don't know he was Elway's backup for many years. I think he could have been a starter, he was very good when he had to play.
But he's a bright offensive mind and good coach who has good credentials. I expect the Texans behind Reggie Bush, David Carr, and Andre Johnson to have a very dynamic offense in the least.
We'll certainly have big shoes to fill with the loss of our offensive coordinator.

A former St. Pius High School and Texas A&M standout, Kubiak has a knack for polishing quarterbacks, such as Steve Young and John Elway. He interviewed for the Texans’ head coaching job in 2001, but has produced an even more impressive resume as Denver’s offensive coordinator since then.

There will be free-agents available.
The Texans could always trade the #1 pick and move down to get some linemen.
yeah I think that would be best, Davis is a damn good back. He gets a good amout of yardage with a shitty O-line. He is one of the best IMO. Honestly if I was him I would be damn pissed. He has put a lot of blood and sweat on that field. There is NO WAY they should get rid of Carr, jesus that guy has takes a beating week in and week out. Then again if I owned the team I don't think I'd run it like a business, I'd be in it for the team.
edit: It'd be like the stars trading Modano.

The owner McNair said that in the immediate team future decisions will be Kubiak's.
This includes things like the draft choices, team rosters, staffing of coaches etc you name it ... McNair is putting all his marbles on Kubiak to come in and clean up the house.
Basically if Kubiak says someone needs to go, they will be gone (at least this is the impression we are getting).

LenDale White is also good. They could always trade down, select him and get an additional pick and/or select or acquire an O-lineman from the trade.
