Fill the tank with fresh fuel, completely full. Add fuel stabilizer<------ VERY IMPORTANT!
If possible, store the car inside a climate controlled facility, or a garage that is attached to a house that will have heat/AC.
Lay plastic under the car, then place jackstands under the chassis, to relieve the stress on the suspension. The plastic will help keep moisture from coming up thru the cement.
Flushing the brake fluid before storing is always a good idea, as it draws moisture. Any moisture in there will promote corrosion inside the calipers and MC.
A soft cloth car cover is also a good idea, but only if the car will be out of the wind.
Washing and waxing before storage is another good idea.
A few moth ***** inside the car will keep out most insects and rodents, but can be less than desireable after storage. Laying them under the car works also as well, without the smell later.
Flushing the coolant is another good idea, but since the engine is new, I assume the coolant is as well.
Remove the battery from the car.
I'm sure I've missed a few points, hopefully others can chime in with the ones I have overlooked.
