I have finally secured a date for tuner Steve Kan to be in El Paso. Many of this form's members are familiar with his EMS knowledge (which includes Microtech, Haltech, Hondata, AEM, DSM link, Motec, Electromotive, and many others.) He will be in el paso the weekend of June 21 for a full day of tuning. Deposits will be 50% of whatever you decide to get done and that needs to be in to me by May 10 so i can then forward it to him as one payment with a list of cars to be done.
Dyno Time will be updated by April 3 since i am waiting for the final costs on that. I will have a cost on whether it is cheaper to do it per person, per hour, or rent the dyno for a full day, all depending on how many people want dyno tune done or street tune done. Steve's tuning rates are:


$350 - Stock turbo up to 12psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$400 - aftermarket turbo up to 16psi of boost (pump gas only) 1 map
$450 - aftermarket turbo from 16psi - 25psi of boost (race gas and/or auxiliary injection only) 1 map
$600 - aftermarket turbo up to 25psi of boost (pump gas and race gas tune) 2 maps

Here is the estimated time frame allocated for each type of tuning.

stock turbo - 45 mins - 1.5 hrs
aftermarket turbo (pump gas) 1hr - 2.5 hrs
aftermarket turbo (race gas and/or auxiliary injection) 2 - 4hrs
aftermarket turbo (2 maps) 3-6 hrs

Your deposit is what reserves the slot. Nothing is set until the deposit is in.
