The Fair sounds like a good idea. Haven't been in a few years. I've been dying to go back into that spinning room...

Went yesterday and had a good time. GD'ed the food is expensive, though. You don't realize it until you fork over 9 tickets for a drink.

Ten minutes later.... Hmmm, $0.50 a ticket....

$4.50?!?!!!

I went up last weekend for the TXOU game. Most of the fun was had in the excitement of the game...didn't ride the rides, but those looked cool, if not deadly. I will say, I had one of the famous corndogs, and I thought it was pretty nasty. I don't see what the hype is about. And yeah, the food is friggin' way too pricey.

Right on.

That's why you gotta look around for the best beer place, we found 'em for 5 tickets, $2.50!

Car show was ok, nothing spectacular. Dallas Auto Show was MUCH better. But this year at the fair was far less ghetto than last year. Maybe we just went on a good day...

They had a Z06, a Sky, a Solstice, a Ford GT, and the Firepower... Not too shabby, I'd say!
