Well the circus rolls back into College Station this weekend for our annual Memorial Day race. Looks like a relatively small SRX7 field of only 3 cars (at this moment), but a pretty righteous field of ITA cars (CRXs, RX7's, etc.) at 7, including Paul aka cpa7man.
If anybody in town needs to sneak onto a crew list I've got room between my own and customers, and I won't even put ya to work!

Good times. Had a big off Saturday, reportedly up to 4 feet in the air, though the corner workers couldn't tell me the color of my driveshaft so I suspect it was a little less than that. Once the car got put on the trailer, the rear appears to have a different alignment than before, so that'll have to get checked, too...
At any rate, pretty uneventful race for me. Thanks to the length of it (25 laps) I went from 4th to 2nd just by not breaking. Motored past a bunch of people, both by getting a run through normal 1/1A/2 and having Superior Engine Tuning Skills(tm) so that was fun. I can foresee some people protesting me if I get new tires, because I'll be able to take that complex flat rather than lifting and feathering like I am now... Don't know where Paul (cpa7man) ended up, but he had some competition in ITA. I think there were more ITA cars (7) than Spec7's (6)! Cool stuff. Hopefully he'll bring it by my shop so we can make it faster, right Paul?
Next race for me looks like first weekend in July at MSRH. Can't wait.

I still don't have results, but I was close to the bottom of ITA. After my E car is done I need to retub the ITA car, maybe turn it into a Srx7? I did buy the shocks/springs from Dick. If you saw the underside of that ITA car......it's not good. In the meantime I would like to help the rear end out some. Let me know the next time your coming this way for a NASA or other event.
