I may make a cameo appearance on my way home from work since Freedbird's is on the way home... Unfortunately, that would mean I'm in my Jeep and not the Mazda.

Well since I live all of 5 minutes away from Freebirds now I guess I really should go to this one.

Hey RG, I'll take that S5 rear wing off your hands.

^^ Ditto Jason.

I've been meaning to follow up with you TwistedRotors and see if you offered this to other members and for what cost. By the way, I live in Bellaire and have a two car garage if that helps.

If someone accepts the duty of pulling spark plugs and screwing in the tester, I will bring my tester to the meet.

Is this something where I could remove my spark plugs beforehand and drive up to the meet, cut out on having to do extra work in the parking lot?

^^^ Ummmm seriously?

I have my tester and a spark plug wrench with me today. Its not a big deal to pull the plugs and test (unless its and RX8 and then it sucks a little bit). I might need a new 9 volt battery though because the one I have in the tester is kind of suspect.

I'm not pulling anyone's plugs but I'll talk you through it. If anyone's car goes into limp mode, explodes, won't start... whatever - I don't want to get blamed for it.

Okay - the real reason is because I don't wanna get greasy.

Scott im totally down for pulling my own plugs. I know exactly how you feel about doing it on someone elses car...im bringing rubber gloves for the examination. im also bringing every tool to do this start to finish. Im going to get there before 6 because it starts getting dark sooner.

You guys are seriously making this out to be a bigger deal than it is.

It ain't rocket surgery.

I'd put a compression test on a scale of harder than breaking into an FC with a slim jim but wayyyy easier than changing an FD fuel filter.

I'll be there in the explorer. Trying to change the fuel filter has been a pain in the ***... Still not done with it...Changing the fuel pump is easier...

March is the last meet of the early part of the year that darkness is a problem. We won't be plunged into darkness again until after the October meeting I think.
