Cool

To my knowledge, your 3 closest road course tracks are Hallett, OK, Motor Sport Ranch (MSR) in Cresson, TX and Eagles Canyon Raceway (ECR) in Decatur, TX.
According to Mapquest from Amarillo to Hallett is 5H and 43 min., MSR is 5H and 55 min. and to ECR is 5H and 27 min.
They are almost equally distant by a few minutes.
I would suggest keep in touch with Silent Ninja and me, for upcoming events that we will do.

Dang man, looks like you need to move a bit closer to here lol. pretty much all of them aren't too bad from us. Eagles canyon and MSR Cresson are within 2 hours. texas world speedway, hallett, grandsport speedway, harris hill road, and MSR houston are within 5 hours of us. and like baron said, we usually keep track of different events coming up that we'll post in my other thread. I have my calendar completely marked with every event i've found so far this year lol, so at the beginning of every month i'll start posting the ones I know.

haha at the very least if it's beaten up or you don't have the money to restore it, you could always turn it into a lemons car

that'd be freakin sweet. mostly cuz i wouldnt care if that car got destroyed. its not a valuable year. the cost would be biggest issue cuz im still in school, for starting a team. i know some guys who would be interested in a team tho. running a lemons team would be fantastic. i sent sensory assault a message about being their 4th driver for the dallas race. waiting to hear back.

Yeah man, definitely. I would have loved to do the event this year too, but started a new job so that's kinda getting in the way. and don't have a suit or anything, which those run 800+ just for the suit, so I'll sit this years out.

Yep there's always a track fee. they range anywhere from $150 a day to $300-400 a weekend. depends on the group running it. usually around $300 for a weekend, the smaller more expensive groups like PCA and BMW charge more for a weekend, but 300 is the average. the rules depend by group, but overall they're pretty straight forward. they'll explain pretty much everything to you at the drivers meeting and they'll also explain everything such as the flags and track specific/group specific rules in the beginners meeting. so don't worry too much about that, especially since you'll have an instructor with you helping you out and watching out for the flags. oh and PM sent.
