Thumbs up Our Trip To Gotham Racing

Friday afternoon, Kyle and I drove up from Houston to visit one of our rotary friends, Rich Sheveland, who lives in a SE Dallas suburb.

On Saturday morning we drove the 59 miles up to Gotham Racing just north of Fort Worth. Luckily; "Steve The Man Kan", was there. Yes, the Grand Opening sign is still hanging on the front of the building, which does make it easier to see.
Steve showed us around the new shop which includes the engine preparation room and paint & body shop area. Got to see some of his stage 2 and 3 port work that was underway on some housings. And sadly, he also showed us his broken 3 rotor engine e-shaft.

The largest collection of FDs that I ever seen in one place was at the shop.
And for fun there were a coulple of Supras and a MR2 thrwon in for fun.

I was amazed that Steve uses the exact same laptop as I do for tuning.
G.... minds think alike. HaHa!

We spent over a hour talking to Steve and checking out all the cars.
Kyle and I thank you Steve for your time and friendship shown to us!

it was nice seeing both of you guys again. I had fun talking to you. Please feel free to come by anytime when you're in town. Maybe we can get a rx7 get together when you're in town next time.

Steve

Steve is The Man. A real cool guy. They was still in the old shop the last time I was there. I left to go to Iraq around the time the new shop opened. I look forward to seeing the new shop when I get back latter this year. I met steve at the old shop along with some of the other guys that work there. I had a good time hanging out with them and checking out some of the FDs they were working on. Steve hasn't seen my FD yet but I told him that I will drive it up there when I get back. It will need to get looked at since it will be sitting for almost a year. I did drive it a little last month when I came home for two weeks. Hey Steve I look forward to seeing you and the new shop when I get back. Keep it Pimpn'!
