RX7Freak, you may have that car fixed before I come over. Maybe we can talk Brad in to coming over and helping too.
Do the compression test. I sent you the info, that will tell us how far we can go. If it's bad news, you will want to talk to Brad about building you a new engine.

Scott,
Whats the word on the car? Pm me or give me a holler.
Dave,
Hows the second gen coming? Yeah I'll give you guys a hand.
Heres the deal. I would like to have another get together. This weekend I am going to relax for a while Sat morning to midday because I need some time away. Then I have to find the problem w/ this automatic tranny on a FD. After that its up in the air. That is why I prefer sunday to meet up. I dont care if we all get to gether and fix rxfreaks car or chill at a restraunt or go to the track.
So lets decide. Its going to be a small grouping of us cuz well this has been poor planning.

Brad, here is the lowdown:
rxfreaks car: my fear is low compression, but I am waiting on his results of a compression test. If it's low compression, then there is nothing more to do on his car, obviously.
My second gen: I am pretty sure I have it narrowed down to bad grounds. I think the ground under the manifold which grounds the entire fuel injection system is bad. When I put a voltmeter on the ecu connector pins for the ground, I should have 0 volts, and I have 13V. So, that's my best guess. I am just waiting for some decent weather, because the car is sitting in the driveway, and obviously I can't move it. So, I am hoping that fixing that will do the trick. Then I can move it so I can replace the clutch. OOOOH fun!
Anyway, Sunday's always work better for me. It is usually the only day I have off.
If you want to go over and check out RXfreaks' car, I can bring a Mazda compression tester. (handy little device).

If something can actually get planned, and confirmed, I *may* be able to join. I'm looking for a reason to get my car out, assuming it does warm up, as predicted.......

How about this....
Sunday around noon you guys can meet up somewhere and head to rx7freaks place to check his compression and try to figure out what's up with his car. I don't know about you guys but working on my car always makes me hungry, so you can grab a late lunch somewhere and chill/eat. Then all the people that wanna track there car or just go watch should make sure their rides are track ready and do whatever prep work they need to (changing tires removing dead weight blah blah blah.... Then after the track you can wing it from there ( call it a day or go grab some more eats).
Now I don't even know when the track opens or closes but you guys can figure out the details. As for me I won't be coming this time, I've had a long week and just wanna chill in town. Hopefully this will help you homos get something together instead of just asking the same questions
