A 3-rotor engine and a reman 13B in the crate were stolen from DCP Motorsports. More may be missing.

Do you guys actually think it may have been someone who knew what the motors were, or could it have been somebody thinking, "Hey, I could get some money for those."?

God damn, man. When did this happen? I'll keep my eyes and ears open, but I doubt I will hear much out here in the boonies.

Was is the entire thing or just the short blocks? I would imagine that it would have to have been multiple people in order to carry a complete 20B, and undoubtedly a truck was present. Any ideas about truck model/year/color?

It makes me so mad that people are still taking advantage of people who have been devistated by the storm.

 

Well............. A Local Rx-7 owner was seen speeding off from the shop and WE ALL know who he is.

It's a damn ******* shame and he knows who he is !!!!!!!!!!!!

 

We all need to know so he doesn't steal our #@$! next.

 

Yo Clean, this happened within the past week or so. The entire 20B was jacked. Somone else was seen speeding off from the shop recently and was most likely scoping out the joint for some more looting.

 

That's just a god damn shame. Have the authorities been notified? I'm sure that the cops probably don't give a **** at a time like this, but it is still worth a shot.

the good thing about them stealing the 20b is it cant be hidden for to long unless its parted out

Darrel's shop was heavily damaged and had 4 to 5 ft. of flooding. Kinda hard to secure the building when walls/doors are missing.

Hey isnt DCP Motorsports out by the lake front airport? I work out there every day. As for security, it's non existant. I sometimes leave base after dark and I ride with my brights on and my HK 40 on my passanger seat just incase. There are NO police in that area and the excuse they give is "well if no one is occupying the area why should we patrol the area?" You should call them and say "this is why you should be patroling the area mother *******!" If there is anything I can do let me know.

Its just sad that one of the local Rx-7 guys had to loot. Fine if its someone else outside the Rotary community, but DAMN. He's being watched closely so we'll see what happens.

 

That really makes me upset that someone who shares the same passion that we do for this vehicle would stoop that low to steal for his own benefit. He must know that 3 rotors are not a dime a dozen like 350 small blocks or something. He knows that pretty much everyone in the area that would buy a 3 rotor will see this post and bust him. What a moron. Let me know if you need any help. We could always go steal it back if you know who it is!!! hahaha I am in if you want to do that. Stealing something that has been stolen from you already cant be illegal right? Keep me informed.

Why dont you just post his name in this thread? If you're so positive it was him, then there's no reason to be secretive about who it is. It's only slander if it isn't true...

 

Can't do man, I don't operate like that. A good friend who is a longtime J.P. police is now involved and we are letting them deal with it.

So, shooting his name all over the boards won't do any good at the moment.
