I could use some helping hands this Saturday to help part out my wrecked 86 RX7. I bought a new chassis this past weekend and it should be here by the end of the month and I need to get the parts car out of the garage in order to put the new chassis in. We will be stripping it down to the frame. Major items left are gas tank, interior, hatch, doors, engine bay, engine, and front sub-chassis. The rear sub-frame has already been removed.

Due to how the car is currently sitting in the garage and how the garage is designed we won’t be able to pull the engine unless someone has a clever idea on how to move the chassis. (I’ve got an idea or two but they can be put into play after everything else has been removed.) If we can get everything removed Saturday except for the engine proper I’d consider the day very successful. If you’re coming by I’d suggest you bring your own set of metric sockets and spanners as I’ve only got enough for myself and maybe half another person.

I’ll have cokes and water available (BYOB) and if someone will commit to bringing a grill (or let me swing by and borrow one) I’ll supply the fixings for hamburgers. I’ll be starting at around 9am Sat and working till we decide to call it a day. Garage is located just off the N. Dallas Tollway and George Bush exchange. Post up if you can come out.
