Let me know if there is--- and if they do engine rebuilding!!!

It would be cool if I could take my motor to them

I don't think Mazmax does rebuilds ...
If you want to talk with an individual for a rebuild there are several of us in the Houston Rx7 club that can do a rebuild, PM me or one of the two Chucks.

They don't rebuild the engines onsite... they can get you a Mazda rebuild and have in the past ordered engines from the guys at Rotary Performance.
One of the techs does some business on the side in his spare time, but doesn't really advertise. Like Kyle said there are some guys in the club that do rebuilds locally and come with a solid sheet of references.. there are also some scumbags around Houston who pretend to be "rotary mechanics" watch out for those guys too!
PS - We are the RX-Club of Houston now (we adopted RX-8s a few years back, as well as other rotaries)

.....Is so close to me I could walk there. Those guys are really helpful but come with your facts straight or you will get your *** handed to you if you don't know wth you are talking about. I was a noob on my first encounter and it wasn't pretty.
