Mazda Parts Dallas

Real quick, does anyone know of a place where I can pick up a couple of rx7 parts locally?

I *need* 2 more outer coolant seal "square rings" -
I *would like* an s4 TII gasket that goes between the UIM and LIM (has a really cool name like "induction chamber gasket" or "resolution chamber gasket" I don't remember)

None of the local Mazda dealers have it, they said the closest they could get it from was San Antonio. Is there a builder here locally that would sell me these, or a place to pick some up? I was just hoping not to have to order them out of Ontario again. :P

Just got off the phone with Gotham Racing - they'll only sell as a kit for $175. :P That's pretty steep for 2 square rings ($4.60/ea) and a LIM to UIM gasket ($2.05) - I don't mind paying a little more than that for the convenience of not having to Fed Ex them from Ontario, but not $164 more.

Let me see if I can track down Rotary Performance's number. Thanks!

Rotary Performance has the square rings, thanks for the help! I don't know what I'll do about the UIM to LIM gasket. :p I'll probably hold off until I figure out something else I need, because I can wait for that, and it just seems silly to pay freight from Ontario Canada for a $2.05 cent part. Maybe I'll see how much one of those kits of make your own gasket cardboard material from O'Reilly Autoparts is.

You could always try Curtis's little parts shop.... he has plenty of gaskets on hand (as I got two 2.5" exhaust gaskets from him not too long ago)

Well, despite the long *** drive from Lewisville, the people at Rotary Performance were pretty cool, and had the square rings I needed. I checked their prices on a couple of other things too while I was there and they were incredibly reasonable for a local speedshop. Boost gauges at ~$50, A Pillar pod ~$30, and high quality 720cc injectors at ~$120. Chris and Ari were nice to talk to, also, and gave me some pointers on my setup. Guess I know where my business is going when I need a hand.

Yeah, I remember! Awesome! Are you going to be at the next rx7club meeting, or would you rather meet whenever?

Are you ever near the area where we usually have the meet? I don't want to make you go out of your way or anything - I live in Flower Mound, just north of Grapevine, same general area as the meets at Cheddars - just tell me where and when you'll be closest to that and I'll swing over and pick it up from you.

Actually, considering the parts I've given away to people who needed them, I haven't even quite broke even yet.

A couple of other things it dawned on me that I need - does anyone happen to have a spare T2 exhaust manifold they'd part with for a reasonable price? Or a TII Oil Filler 2nd pipe (the one the cap screws onto)?

Thanks to Jeff, for a shiny new TII UIM/LIM gasket!

Does anyone happen to have an old master cylinder they'd be willing to sell? I got a brand new one, but the reservoir broke when I tried to swap it over. :P
